MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB!

This was sent to me by a friend. The author is unknown.
I think it is true and carries a very clear message.
it is worth sharing with you!

“Mary had a Little Lamb
His fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere Mary went,
The Lamb was sure to go.
He followed her to school each day,
Wasn’t even in the rule.
He made the children laugh and play,
To have a Lamb at school.
And then the rules, all changed one day,
Illegal it became,
To bring the Lamb of God to school..
Or even speak his name.
Every day got worse and worse,
And days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh.
We heard gun shots, and tears.
What must we do to stop the crime,
That’s in our schools today?
Lets let the Lamb come back to school,
And teach our kids to pray!

Our school gets around the seperation thing by having clubs. The Community Christian club. My son says more and more kids are joining. Some of the children are just learning how to pray. Some are asking questions. It's amazing that the children are seeking God.

Love the poem, and so true. Taking God out of schools was the beginning of the violence in the school system. We all need to pray for our nation. I have a little granddaughter and I dread the day she has to go to school. Thanks for sharing.

That is such a great poem! Definitely one to pass around. I can remember back to being able to pray in school, as well as saying the Pledge of Alligiance. It's terrible it is no longer allowed. Thanks for sharing this!

Blessings,
Andrea
