Celtic Woman Concert!

What a wonderful day I had yesterday...My son Matthew took his wife Gay, mother-in-law BeBe, and me to St Paul MN, to Grand Avenue to do some shopping, then to dinner at "Dixie's On The Grand", where he presented each of us with rose corsages...We had a lovely leisurely meal then we went to the St Paul River Center for the Celtic Woman Concert! It was an awesome concert and a fun filled day...I am so proud of Matt, shopping with us three women...He hates doing that, but he was very well mannered during it all...not even one sigh, or peeking at his watch...We went to "Just Truffles", bought a couple of truffles...This place is known the world over for their "to die for truffles"...I broke down and bought one, which I have divided into 4 pieces so it lasts longer and also I don't get all those calories at once...We also went to Whole Foods for some good for you vegetables and salmon...If you have never seen the Celtic Woman, and they come to your area, make sure you go...You will not be sorry you did...The song playing now is one of the songs they sang.....We got back to Faribault at midnight and I slept in this morning...now I am behind on my Saturday chores....oh well they sure won't go away....I hope all of you have a wonderful fun filled Valentines Day....I did get my Valentine cards sent out to everyone....Till tomorrow....

Wow, sure sounds like you had a fun day. What a GREAT son you have! My husband took me on an overnight getaway to Wabasha Mn then on Sat. on our way home we went through Faribault. We stopped at Keepers Antique store. I just love that store, a few years ago we were going through and stopped there and I got a ton of great supplies so I couldn't wait to go back. I found some great stuff again this time but not as much as last time. Lots of buttons, trim and a few other odds and ends for crafting. Have you ever been there? Have a wonderful week. Take care.
